Well I’ll be damned… Just plugged in my iPhone and iTunes is reporting a new firmware update, version 1.0.2. According to Apple it’s merely bug fixes, as illustrated in the screen shot below.
Surely I can’t be the first to know about this, so I did a little research. And reported by several others: jailbreak continues to function and other iPhone hacks are working as well. Although, if you’re attempting an update or backup/restore from a hacked iPhone, you may experience problems.
My money says it doesn’t hinder the recent iPhone [hardware] unlock either. ;)
Just did a backup/restore from a hacked iPhone with no problems. 1.0.0 -> 1.0.2
hi there I am english and live in the UK but I got an unlocked iPhone in New York and it runs on v 1.0.2 and I cant update with iTunes because if I did that then my iPhone would lock up. Is there anything I can do to get 3rd party applications on my iPhone, especially cre.ations because a friend of mine has that and it is so cool, please respond publicly on your blog thanks from lad
m trying to downgrade m iphone 1.14—.1.1.2.. i think it screwd up my phone?
