I’ve come across many reports on various forums with users experiencing difficulty while interacting with the Turbo SIM using turbo-info and/or turbo-app. That said, iZsh has released turbo-smsreset. By the way, this software is only of use if you’re using the Turbo SIM unlock method for the iPhone.
It seems there is a bug which prevents the Turbo Sim from being properly programmed when the SMS storage is full (why the turbo sim is full is another question).
This utility deletes the SMSs from the Turbo Sim, and this should, hopefully, solve the ERRORs while running turbo-info/turbo-app.
To use: disable CommCenter, on the iPhone run:
# launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
Lets assume you’ve already copied turbo-smsreset to your iPhone with proper execution privileges, so run it:
# turbo-iphone-smsreset
Proceed with running turbo-info or turbo-app, and it should hopefully work with no errors.
Then re-enable CommCenter:
# launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
Note: it’s not necessary to reboot the iPhone.
I hope this helps some iPhone hackers out there.
