How to Downgrade your iPhone’s Baseband Firmware

Posted by greg

The newly formed iPhone Elite Dev Team has released their 19-step method to successfully downgrade the modem’s (baseband) firmware — 04.01.13_G back to 03.14.08_G. Of course you’ll require some technical know-how in order to accomplish the downgrade. Don’t feel overwhelmed though; take your time, read carefully.

Note: this will not help those waiting to upgrade from anySim/iunlock/geohot hw unlocked to 1.1.1 without bricking. Stay tuned for an updated 1.0.2/1.1.1 unlock to allow you to upgrade and keep all functionality.

Read the guide.

And by the way, here’s a new version of iPHUC for those running 1.1.1.
