Hey i used it, it worked perfect execpt for the fact that i cant use AnySim because i dont have a virgin phone..and since im a noob im not going through the long process of revirginizing……i recommend this software everything you need is there, comment if there is any question…

how do u activate i have went through have of the steps and still says activate iphone help plzz

i got stuck in step 6 because it said to restart it, then the next line says not to. so i tried starting all over and it keeps saying ‘refused by host’ or sumthing like that.. help?

which version are you trying to activate, the 1.0.2 or the 1.1.1

i have a question, i want to get a new iphone. i will get the at&t service, all i want is to be able to install 3rd party applications like nes. what do i do when i get my iphone from the at&t store? activate? or do i need to install something firs to be able to play nintendo games? sorry i am new at this… thanks in advance

I am trying to activaste version 1.1.1 and have unable to do so….I am at step 7 w/o any issue using idemocracy….can someone help on how to activate 1.1.1 thanks…also I am not a mac user have windows. Thanks

it really does work, also remember people to download the youtube fixer from the code.google.com/p/idemocracy dont run the activator part of the software.. it will mess up your iphone really bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just run the youtube fixer part…Also remember the “installer fix” that is also in the google code page..after that you are ready to go…comment if any problem

this is by far the worst jailbreak method out there.

Its very convouluted and in no way automated or semi-automated.

touchfree IS a simple and quick way to jailbreak 1.1.1!!!!

DO use this it works fine. Shai’s wrong. It is actually by far the BEST windows jailbreak application for 1.1.1 . The only thing I don’t have atm is YouTube activated. But I spoofed the main activation screen fine.

go to the idemocracy website that ia code.google.com/p/idemocracy and download the newly release activator and toutube fixer…………

Hey mario, can you (or anyone else for that fact) confirm if is this new YouTube activator from iDemocracy actually ‘works’ ? As I unwisely used the previous version BEFORE the warning message was posted on their website.

Predictably, it totally stuffed up my iPhone. I.e. It acted like it had a 100MHz CPU in it - SERIOUSLY slow.

Anyway, due to this, I had to totally restart the whole process of downgrading, revirginizing, upgrading & jailbreaking… AGAIN *sighs*.

So I want to make sure this new YouTube activation method defiantly works properly as every previous attempt has always gone terribly wrong lol.

Its a shame its so hard to properly ’spoof’ YouTube activation as it is a great source of free entertainment…

P.S. Has anyone ever had any trouble with their iPhone crashing when using either 1.0.2 or 1.1.1 ? E.g. Mobile Safari browser and 3rd party applications keep unexpectantly closing at random intervals.

hey 74tz i havent test the new activator released from idemocracy….also i had to do everything over because i too did use the first activator release….but here is the thing, if you still have that file open it up and instead of clicking the activation icon, click the youtube fix icon which i tested and told the idemocracy creator that in fact it works …..Yes i also had problem with my 1.0.2 cause of the random application closing thing…………………….One question how did you revirginize your iphone?was it hard?what method did you use?because for me the different methods that are out so far are kind of lod and complicated.

It would be awesome if there was a revirginizer for women too? it would be cool in a weird way…

Hi mario. In the words of Richard Hammond from the Amphibious Cars episode of BBC Top Gear ¨We’ve both mucked it up because we’re stupid…¨ lol :P . So are you ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that the YouTube Fix part of the first activator from iDemocracy WON’T crack’up my iPhone again? I can get past the initial AT&T activation screen easily, but never have I successfully got YouTube to work… Trouble is, I deleted my copy of the first activation tool out of disgust of how badly it messed up my iPhone and wasted MORE of my time the next day - so if you know somewhere I can re-download it, that would be much appreciated.

As for baseband re-virginization, I just followed the guide link posted on this website (iPhone-hacks) and downloaded ‘virginizer_pack.zip’.

If your a bit uncertain about how to get it to work, I could always guide you through the process in real-time through instant messaging if you like, assuming your in the same timezone as I am.

I can also gladly report that if you ever need to re-down & up/grade between 1.0.2 and 1.1.1; and you’ve unlocked with AnySIM v1.1, there is NO need to re-unlock again as it is restore resistant while your mucking about with iDemocracy re-jailbreaking.

hey 74tz it would be A good idea to communicate through instant message in real time, I live in Florida but most of the time I could chat… If we talk through instant message I could look in my comuter for the first activator that has the youtube fixer and send it to you since it is really a small file….thanks

ok, let me get this straight you create 2 random account, and thats how we are goin to comunicate? thats cool lets do it………….but what i dont understand is how am i going to login in “my” account…but whatever create the accounts and then tell me…

Idemocracy worked for me, but it takes some time to go though and lots of reboots. For activation I used CARNAVAL by brasuco, did the job fine. However I cant recommend the Anysim application it bricked my baseband with a wrong IMEI, and I had to flash it via bbupdater and ieraser, quite complex but it finaly did the job.
Now I’m running on 1.1.1 jailbroken and simunlocked… :-D

What I’ll do is give you the username and password for ‘your’ account once they’ve been created. You should set up a ‘throw-away’ e-mail address yourself that I can send these details to, as organizing a meeting time on the chatroom would be too difficult with all the timezone issues. I’m not going to post the details of ‘your’ account in here because of the reasons I previously stated above - *Indicates previous forum post*
