Running system software 1.1.1 and haven’t jailbroken or installed Installer.app yet? Then browse over to jailbreakme.com via Mobile Safari. Those genius iPhone/iTouch hackers have further refined their AppSnapp methods. Without doubt it’s the easiest jailbreaking technique to date.
New & improved AppSnapp features:
- Entire process is logged to /var/root/Media/AppSnapp.log and can be retreived with iphuc/ssh.
- Added a check to prevent AppSnapp from being ran on devices which are not running 1.1.1
- Improved reliability. I am no longer using raw sockets to send the payload files, they are being served back to the phone/ipod via HTTP. This greatly improves the chances you’ll actually get it jailbroken the first time.
- Added progress indicator. Now once safari crashes, you’ll see a dialog letting you know what’s going on.
- Updated to the latest version of Installer.app. Now, I install Community Sources by default so you’ll see all packages right away.
- Made it really one-touch, even for users with unactivated phones.
- Fixed issue where the majority of users with unactivated phones wouldn’t get YouTube working automatically.

It works like a charm…great job!…I did it by the method they provided w/out use of a PC or Mac…the only bump in the road I’ve come to is after I SSH anySIM 1.1 to my iphone and try to use it…the app freezes and won’t unlock the phone…it just goes back to the apps screen…
If I use this App to Mod my iPhone, then Apple comes out with a beneficial update, could I use the Revirginzing App then install the update?
if you revirginize before updating, then yes. it should.
i can’t ssh to my phone. Can you include anysim 1.1.1 in a future update, so you don’t have to go through any SSH b.s.?

I found a great trick for you…go to sources in installer….click sources on the bottom right…then edit on the top right…then add on the top left…then type in rep.frenchiphone.com…hit ok…wait till it refreshes…hit done on the top right….hit install near the bottom left…scroll down to french iphone.com and install anySIM 1.1P from them…reboot your iphone then launch that…worked like a charm for me! Make sure you have the SIM that you’ll use in the phone when you start it….and don’t worry…it won’t turn your phone into french text or anything…it’s just a french site that installs anySIM for you….enjoy!
now that i have jailbroken my touch in 1.1.1 is it ok to do the apple upgrade through iTunes to 1.1.2? or will it erase everything i have done with the jailbreak? basically i want to know if i can just download and install 1.1.2 or if i have to do something before so all my jailbreak stuff wont erase with the update?
How can I do voice dailing, instead of all the steps .and use my Bluetooth the made the phone calls
