As early as this weekend it is quite possible we’ll be busting apart a new iPhone software update — that’s according to CNET France.

System software 1.1.3 is said to feature disk mode, for storing general data on the device’s memory, and will also introduce a voice recording option. Big whoop by the sounds of it… These two features are already available by means of 3rd party developers.

Upgrading will no doubt re-lock your phone and wipe out any unauthorized apps/games. Again, I recommend sticking with 1.1.1.

I wish they’d implement theming or other more useful features.

I’m using the turbosim+sim combo with my iphone and most of the stuff in the new firmware i already have on my 1.1.2……….it would have to be a major update for me to consider updating!
