Your iPhone just got cooler. From developer ZodTTD, whom you may recognize from such iPhone emulator ports as gpSPhone, is psx4iphone.
“psx4iphone” is the first unofficial PlayStation 1 (PSX/PSOne) emulator for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. It’s based on portions of psx4all by Unai, Chui, Tinnus, and ZodTTD.
ZodTTD states, “…it has a good compatibility rate and features save states and a dynarec for added performance.” You will however require the PlayStation BIOS — “scph1001.bin”. Due to legality reasons we cannot supply you with that; be resourceful, use your Google skills.
Copy roms (.ISO, .IMG, .BIN, .Z, .ZNX disc images) to /var/root/Media/ROMs/PSX. Enjoy!
psx4iphone is available now via Installer.app. Or you may grab it from us, iPhone Hacks. Also be sure to visit the source link for more information — donation details, frequently asked questions, joining the beta testers club, etc…

you need to work you download skills. you need original psx iso’s or image files to play on this emulator.
and leiferikson learn how to help, he said where to download games for this app not how to download the app its self
can u download isos from a source on apptap?I got the emulator but no games, can u plz help. THNXXXXX!!!

Then to answer your question; No, there is no way to download games via apptap. Besides it would take forever to download games over a WiFi connection, hell some apps that are 200kb in size take minutes to download.

Hello I look for game on sites, like psx, but I see the size are big to fit on the Iphone?
most games are 500mb - 2gb
if u dont have enough space just erase some videos or songs.
they also said later on theres going to be an update which will let u play cso files. these are compressed iso’s (which are smaller files) but it will be more laggy.
500mb= 1/2 gb
whenever they get it down to using psp/psx formatted ps1 games that’ll be perfect. i have tons of those saved already pre-converted
Ok so where do you dump the scph1001.bin file in the iphone which folder please app or roms?
Got it all working very slow and jerking alot not great at all needs more work to run smoothly
where do i place the bios file ????
It hangs when playing. I tried other psx games still the same. Its really annoying. This needs update, there still a bug.
u place it in psx4iphone.app folder in applications with the other files
^^^ that was for dan…but anyways…anyone know how to convert eboot’s and/or keys to an iso file??
