Phew, it’s safe to update now. Zibri has released ZiPhone version 2.5.
Actually, perform a restore to 1.1.4 — don’t update. Nullriver’s Installer keeps a cache of installed apps; you will encounter problems upgrading straight to iPhone system version 1.1.4. So play it safe, do the restore — connect USB, hold the home button and sleep/power for a few seconds, click “Restore” in iTunes.
Get down. Kudos Zibri, and everyone else who made this possible.

im have a jailbroken 1.1.2 do i have to update first to 1.1.4?
Will this jailbreak a 1.1.4 ipod touch without downgrading it? Or will it just downgrade it. I have a 1.1.2 ipod touch and i want to update firmware but no point if i can’t jailbreak it without going back down again. Cheers
It can jailbreak 1.1.4 without having to downgrade.
I think i’ll wait for 1.1.5 to come out and get jailbreaked, maybe that will be worth the upgrade?!
Well…there are bug fixes in 1.1.4 that make it more stable than 1.1.3…so think of it as 1.1.3+…I think it’s worth the update…
my iphone is saying i’m on 1.1.3 but the firmware say this 04.04.05_g
i used ziphone to unlock my 1.1.3. now when this when come out for the 1.1.4 i had a good old look in to it and thought y not so i used the refurbish i did what it ask so i used the 1.1.3 restore as it got need the end and that 309 er massage cum up i was thinking s..t so i started to run the old ziphone 2.3 and now my iphone now is saying i’m on 1.1.3 but the firmware say this 04.04.05_g whats up with that and youtube is work and it all unlock

Hello Please urgent help i have 1.1.4 itouch and used the jailbreak but now the ipod is permantely stuck in the dos looking screen saying BSD root etc
I cannot get itunes to recognise and recovery mode wont work!!! BE CAREFUL please advice

I want to upgrade to 1.1.4 then Jailbreak……What would be the procedure please someone as I have TurboSIM…… is it as simple as using iTunes to 1.1.4, then use ZiPhone to JailBreak then the TurboSIM just works….. anyone??
