Countless iPhone apps are released every day; some are useless, some suck, and some kick a supreme amount of ass. Onboard the ass kicking boat is HWPen — the first iPhone handwriting application.
HWPen hooks into the on-screen keyboard, and, well, you guessed it — recognizes your handwriting. It’s currently in the beta stages of development, but no doubt demonstrates true dopeness.

As always, props to Leif for the find.
why would u need to handwrite when you can just type on the iphone??
I tried and it works quite well, it is a quality app.
But uninstalled it shortly after because it is not really needed and it takes over the keyboard-change button (hence entering a number requires pressing the keyboard-change more than once, which quickly becomes annoying).
Ive actually tested this thing out, it does get annoying as hell. Another thing that throws me off is that, it states on the program that it will not be free when its fully released version is complete and that the demo will be unmanned. So unless you want to cough up a small fee for the complete version so you can WRITE on your iphone, then test out the program and uninstall. basically its function is useless in the iphone world.
they should make it with an on/off botton on the iphone key pads
I actually find the iphone touchpad to dificullt to use for normal fast typing. I wish the iphone would come with a bigger screen.
i was wondering how to download it on windows xp because i dont have installer
