It would be awesome if it was completely free… keep the softwares free!!!!!!
How do you pay the bills on free work? Do you work for free? If you like it…buy it…if not…don’t bother…
the purpose of homebrew is to share and have the community add inputs and possibly make the software better for all, not to make a profit. i can almost guarentee that the author(s) of this software doesn’t work on iphone apps for a living.
i can guarantee he doesn’t work on iphone apps for a living…but it’s nice to give a contribution to his efforts…it doesn’t take minutes to write an app…and suggesting all apps be free is a little greedy…be thankful that some offer apps for free…no need to say that all apps should be free…a little money given to homebrewers for a beer or two keeps the creative juices flowin…
no dude. the have no right to charge for the app. yeah, they wrote it, but they had no right to. they aren’t licensed, they’re not in any way “official” coders for the iphone.
they’re being complete douche bags by asking for money. they’re using somebody else’s methods and software to hack the iphone and even be able to write for it in the first place. those hacks were provided to them completely free. they chose to take time and write for the iphone. nobody told them to. nobody forced them to. they decided to make it on their own time. now they want to charge for it? thats a bitch move.
if they want money, thats what donations are for
(I forgot to add that)
The problem with having to pay for it is that whos to say that when 2.0 comes out that apple wont sell a better recording program. Plus theres no guarentee that this software will work in future firmware updates. The smartest thing they should do is keep it free but limit the quality or put a banner at the bottom saying unregestered or pre release and then promice that they would make an official one for purchase once 2.0 is released.
Awesome program…..too bad its not free….but if it works on 2.0 ill buy
cant send the playback by email, phone just restarts at the end, plus it changed my locking sound.
NOTICE: There is already a free Crack for unlimited recording time on this because the other developers are furious as this team is charging for their code work and have not licensed the codes being used to make this program work…Do Not Pay Extra for something that should be free people! (Or wait a while until the superior ‘free’ uShow from DrunknBass comes out!)
we’ve been waiting for DrunknBass for ages…
nothing works on this, it changed my sounds… gave a kind of tinny sound to everything, nothing plays back, if i try to rename a file it dissapears…. load of rubbish
By the way,
If you want to download the videos to your computer without having to send them through E-mail,
SSH and go to:
/private/var/mobile/media/iPhoneVideoRecorder
And enjoy the mp4s
