All iPhoners and iPhonerettes, if you’re serious about portable gaming, or maybe those khakis have insufficient pocket space for both your iPhone and PSP, then you must check this out — for real.

You and I both know emulators and games [on the iPhone] just ain’t the same without any actual controls. And that touch-screen business is nonsense from a gamer’s perspective. So, the remedy — iControlPad.

iControlPad fits nicely over the iPhone connecting via the serial port. It looks & feels similar to the PSP, but is said to be slightly smaller. Already iControlPad works with ZodTTD and the PSX / GBA emulators. No doubt more will follow suit.

And yes, an iTouch version is coming too. As well, full source code and SDK support will be provided.

Follow the source link for ongoing development and project updates.
