Things are poppin’ over at the iControlPad development blog; you know, the “game-pad sleeve” that fits tight around the iPhone creating a whole new portable gaming experience.
So what’s the latest? They have a sexy render of the iControlPad shown below. The end result maybe slightly larger than the PSP after all; at least by the look of things…
As well, a demo video from ZodTTD showcasing the SNES control pad hack using an iControlPad prototype:

Ha, in that picture, they forgot the iPhone would be upside down if inserted that way, or the controller would be. I suppose it’s an aesthetic choice?

almost the perfect solution to use traditional controls on an iphone.
