that is a month ago john and truphone already has an app

what is the deal they want beta testers but want us to join facebook i would love to beta test but i do not want facebook they ca email me i travel to us/canada very often i would be a great tester

I recently contacted iCall and ask them the status of there new app for iPhone and they said ” It’s comming Verry soon” . I have contacted them several times and this is the most I have been able to get out of them. Either they are having troubles with the app or with Apple.

Of course you can! The team at Truphone (who demonstrated VoIP on the iPhone way back last fall have had a version of their VoIP application in the Apple iTunes apps store since it launched. It is free and works like a dream!

Tear it up guys! It’s about time!

This shouldn’t be a problem for the carriers, wifi isn’t everywhere and if it was someone would come out with something like this anyway, much like those devices one can hook a phone to their PC and make calls that way.

It’s silly that we can email, send music and even watch TV free online, but can’t make a simple voice call.

You guys rock!
