Fantastic work done by the dev team…I’ll be patiently waiting for the update to their pwnage tool…most likely the reason for not using installer yet is that all/most of the apps are designed for fw 1.1.4 making them useless on 2.0

@ dlr … u r right, and installer.app will not work on 2.0, as of now. But maybe there is someway to trick the phone into thinking its running on a 1.1.4 firmware instead of 2.0… theres an idea for you! lol I mean if they achieved to get cydia running, theres an accomplishment already (who know if they achieved most, if not all, programs to run).

so until installer works 2.0 is not jailbreaked at all

2.0 has been jailbroken…just not released yet…even when the jailbreak will be released, developers have to re-code their apps so they’ll work with 2.0 when you download them from installer. Also, I read that an update to installer will make it easier to download apps to your iphone. It will be able to tell what firmware you phone is allow/deny you certain apps you would like to download based on the apps’ compatability…

Once the 2.0 jailbreak gets released…you can enjoy some free and cheap apps from apple’s officail app store untill installer’s apps get caught up…

I’d rather see SSH working on 2.0 to (cough! ahem!) backup Appstore games like Monkey Ball onto torrent sites…

Question i have a old model Iphone firmware 1.1.4
i live in the netherlands and i have a T-mobile Simcard
what wil happen if i upgrade to Firmware 2.0 and use the T-mobile Simcard the Iphone is US model so wil it ask for a AT & T card or could i use the T-mobile card just like the new model here in the nehterlands ??
