The highly anticipated Pwnage Tool 2.0.2 has been released!
Changes and Fixes:
- iPhone/iPod firmware 2.0.1 5B108 support
- Added new Cydia build
- Added Installer BETA – USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
- Added new Custom Package command “RunScript”
- Added French, Hungarian and Russian language localizations
- Added path for custom packages “~Library/Application Support/PwnageTool/CustomPackages/”
- Various bugfixes
You can update by opening Pwnage Tool on your Mac, Clicking Pwnage Tool on the menu bar and click on Check for Updates. We’ll have the update on our iPhone Downloads section as soon as possible!

Winpwn is available now….all you need to download is the custom ISPW made for Windows that is for your phone…on the Dev Teams Blog in the comments under the latest posting, people have posted links to download custom ISPWs for the new jailbreak. You MUST download the correct one for your phone. For example, I have a 3G and am a AT&T Customer, so I downloaded the custom ISPW for a 3G with Activation UNCHECKED because I am a legit customer, anyone else would want Activation Checked so that your phone works, but currently the iphone 3G is only Jailbroken, Not Unlocked, so it can run 3rd party apps but not use a different carrier. All other versions besides 3G can be both Jailbroken and Unlocked. Hope this helps

my mate has upgraded to 2.1 can he still load a custom firmware or does he have to wait for 2.2 to come out
winpwn is out the site is busy but it is out. if your phone is already jailbroken you can download the custom firmware are restore your phone with it. you can download it from ilovemyiphone.com but you can get winpwn from the website http://www.winpwn.com/index.php/Main_Page
What is the difference between
Installer and Cydia
I like Cydia. If the same aps can be installed with ether what is the difference?
I did this jailbreak on my iPhone 3G and when all was done I was only able to see the “Installer” App on the phone.
What about the Cydia app? was that suppose to be on the phone also?
I really don’t get much apps with installer, and Cydia seems to contain much more. Is there a way to install Cydia on the phone without doing the jailbreak process all over again?
well steve anderson it depends on wot the dev team say after all there the experts of it all
installer is more like the app store same apps new prices and new stuff however cydia is totally different i relies on their own stuff which aint from apple such as the popular winterboard and hopfelly next year summer board
