Russian hackers from gpda.ru have created a cool looking glowing Apple logo mod for the iPhone. Luckily since I can’t read Russian inews76.com has published some English information. Currently no instructions or lists of parts used to accomplish this mod have been released. Hopefully this will be made public in the future so others can enjoy this mod.

…they had 2 ready iPhones and a couple of “apple” parts. Modding consists of removing the aluminum “fruits” and inserting the glowing ones…

…The apple now glows on Macbooks and iPhones. The battery doesn’t suffer a lot, you can adjust the glow level in Settings menu.

Click the ‘More…’ link for a few pictures of the glowing Apple logo in action.
