Apple has released a new iPhone System Software Update this latest version is 2.0.2. This is another mysterious bug fix release with no new features being added (any new features would appear in a 2.1 release). Mysterious due to the fact Apple won’t tell anyone what those bugs are. Maybe this is the rumored 3G coverage bug fix? Apple has been receiving a bit of bad press lately with reports of users having 3G coverage issues that could be fixed via a firmware patch.
If you have a jailbroken or unlocked iPhone do not upgrade to this firmware yet. You will lose your jailbreak and unlock. As always we’ll have to wait a little bit while iPhone developers patch their tools.

i have jailbroken my iphone with firmware 1.1.4 but itunes asked me to upgrade to 2.0.2. i upgraded and now it is again logked. what am i supposed to do, when is there a patch be released?

I have used quick pwn only to “activate” my iphone I don’t need the jailbreak can I upgrade to the firmware 2.0.2? I have accelerometer problems and I hope to get fixed by the update..
Never upgrade because iTunes says so. Always wait. You can can try downgrading to get your phone back for now.
I have upgraded from 2.0.1 to 2.0.2 thru itunes, and remains jailbreak unlock.
I accidently uppgraded to 2.0.2 and now I am locked how can I unlock it again? Is there a website to go to? Thank you
i upgraded my 2G iPhone from 2.0.1 to 2.0.2 and the unlock still remains! (the baseband is not overridden)

i accidentally upgraded my iphone to 2.02 and then downgraded it, and tried to unlock it again, but now it will not even read the SIM card. I have tried Ziphone and ILiberty+, neither one of them have worked. Is there any possible way that I can fix this?

I have also upgraded my iphone from 1.1.4 to 2.0.2 and tried with winpwn2.5 and quickpwn120. but notthing work out. at the end i am not able to do anything with crashed iphone. At last i leave 2.0.2 locked in my iphone.
