Within 5 hours of the iPhone Dev Team releasing it’s QuickPwn beta command line tool, iPhone hacker ‘poorlad’ stepped up the ante by creating a now officially endorsed frontend GUI for QuickPwn beta. This is a band-aid solution for now as the Dev Team plans to release their own GUI version of QuickPwn in the near future.
beware this is still beta software, it is fairly self explanatory and easy to use. You’ll still see a command-line window popping up when the actual QuickPwn process takes place, but the device and ipsw selection is handled by the GUI.
You can grab QuickPwn GUI Version for self in our iPhone Downloads area in ‘iPhone Utilities’ :: ‘Windows’ or follow this direct link: Download QuickPwn GUI Version
Of course the Dev Team is also privy to the fact that iPhone 2.0.2 has been released and have promised to look into it after some well deserved sleep.
We’ve also heard reports of 2.0.2 version of the iPhone software being released, we’ll be looking at this tomorrow, but for the moment we’d recommend you stay at 2.0.1.
