The iPhone Dev Team have released an updated version of QuickPwn for Windows. It contains the Dev Team’s new bundles for 2.0.2 and have added support for devices running version 2.0 which means the device can be running 2.0, 2.0.1 or 2.0.2.
Here is the updated QuickPwn for Windows, wrapped by Poorlad’s GUI. It contains our new bundles for 2.0.2 and we’ve added support for version 2.0 devices which means the device can be running 2.0, 2.0.1 or 2.0.2. Remember this is still beta software, so usual rules apply, no complaints if anything goes wrong and use the tool at at your own risk!
In addition, the Mac GUI guys on the team are working on a GUI version of Quickpwn for Mac OS X.
The Mac GUI whizzes in the team are working on a graphical Mac OS X version of QuickPwn and also some nice little tweaks to the next release of PwnageTool. As soon as these are finished and tested, we’ll let you know, but don’t hold your breath and refresh for these, the release is not imminent

without the partition resizer cydia will crash using this it has to be 1000 mb I used quickpwn last night on 2.0.2 crashed phone cydia again
so i have had a bunch of trouble trying to use different programs to unlock my first generation iPhone. I recently used the newer version of quickpawn (quickpwnRC3) after having restored my phone back to a clean slate and also downloaded iPhone1,1_2.0.2_5C1_Restore and the 3.9 and 4.1 files also (i forget what there names are).
everything ran fine… i was given instructions and then told to wait as the phone went through different processes and the phone lit up and the last thing it showed was “wait 2 mintues while the final…. is downloaded” and then it went back to the black pinapple sign again. i unplugged it soon after, and now when i turn it on only the pineapple sign comes on and nothing else.
i’ve tried resetting it (holding power button down), starting it in safe mode, redownloading itunes, and running quickpwn again, but my computer and a friends apple (i have a PC) have refused to recognize that there is any device in the USB port.
any suggestions? im at wits end
After upgrading to 2.0.2 in itunes then using quickpwn with the 2.0.2 ipsw, the entire process completed without a hitch. but….
no more signal, can’t dial… any advice? wifi works.

guys, i found the solution, just go to cydia, download bootneuter, and flash the baseband 4.6 and unlock, it’ll work.

I did exactly what you said, the phones is unlock no problem I see the atet signal, I can make phone call no problem, but the phone is stuck on the emergency call screen.
Any idea how to get back to the normal screen ( home screen)?

Here’s what I did and worked like charm.
What I had: 1st Gen iPhone with 1.1.1 running. Jail broken phone, working fine all along.
Upgrade: Updated the phone with 2.0.2 using itunes. and Ran QuickPwn(MAC) to jailbreak again. At this point i had everything working but for GSM signal. Couldnt make calls or connect to Edge.
Solution: Created a peer2peer wireless from my MAC and downloaded Bootneuter (2.10)using Cydia and ran it. Used below settings: BL Version: 3.9, Neuter: ON, FakeBlank:OFF, Unlock:ON. It flashed baseband and boot loader and now I have GSM signal back… Phone is fully functional… :)
ok ive been trying that for about an hour but all i get when i start bootneuter is .. please wait : determaining current settings. then it shuts my iphone down and reboots by its self … im using 3g . please help me

quickpowned to 2.0.2 using the ipsw from apple (this was a mistake since i read the “read me” after :-(
so, phone reported version 2.0.1 but no problems in operation. i used i-tunes to upgrade to 2.0.2 the normal way. then the phone rebooted, checked wifi, phone, sms, everything is running smoothly and phone reports 2.0.2. only difference is that i got the apple logo back and i do not have cydia and installer.
i’ll quickpown it again to get them back.

since i have t-mobile and i did the 2.0.2 update it didnt work then i did the quickpwn and it unlocked it but still doesnt recognize my sim card. is there a way for me to use my phone?
Pretty much in the same boat as jwill. New to all of this, t-mobile as well and pretty much in the same boat (pineapple gif/wifi/cydia +Installer). Every time I put the sim card in though, phone locks up etc.
jwill have you pwned your phone before. because i pwned my phone before and and bootnuetred it. and i just updated mine firmware to 2.0.2 with itunes and it works fine. it will remove cydia, and installer but it still works with tmobile.
Same problem here, after getting a duo sim (still like my nokia n95 for car navigation) t-moblie told me to update to the official 2.0 firmware. After using Quickpwn i do not have any connection to the t-mobile network for internet or GSM. Any help would be appreciated!
Well, i got my iphone working as a phone again.
I used the walkthrough of P. Lalwani, that is below in this thread. With the Quickpwn RC3 you get a 4th option which is to unlock, using two versions of bootloader.
Now the phone and internet is working.
Only thing is that the now you tube doesn’t work…
it is not working to jailbreak 2.02 with my iphone,i better wait the winpawn.
I have updated my iPhone to 2.0.2 the regular iTunes way,
After unlock/jailbreak everything works but YouTube, when I open YouTube it gives me to connect to iTunes with Internet, I did but nothing changed. And my yahoo mail is not working it says user or password is incorrect. All other mail servises are ok(Gmail, mobileme).

I used the winpwn to jailbreak my iPhone with 2.0.2 firmware and now everything’s working except for the Phone. In the sense I’m not getting any signal and I can’t make any calls.

when your creating your custom firmware make sure the activate phone icon is NOT checked then after restore plug into itunes to activate
I just used quickpwn for my phone and lost my wifi connection. Then I had to “Forget this network” and reconnect to my secure network, although now the wifi logo is not showing up?
Now it loses wifi after a few minutes and i need to repeat the steps above?
im trying to quick pawn my iphone. but i cant seem to install quick pawn, it keeps asking me to browse for the IPSW file. which i downloading. But i have no options to choose any files from the folders i have downloaded. Have i unzip the folders wrongly or anything. Please help

After i quickpwn, my yahoo mail is not working. It says wrong id or password. I have checked the id and password many times but the problem persists. I don’t know whats the problem. I have also tried by creating a new yahoo account but the problem continues.

I am having the same password issue. All of the passwords I enter the iPhone says they are wrong, eventhough I know they are right. MobileMe, IMAP and WiFi. All say the passwords are wrong…

ii successfully did it, if you follow my simple steps any one can jailbreak it to 2.0.2 unlocked and with the youtube fix.
step1: download firmware file of your appropriate phone like iphone 3G, 2G or Touch from http://www.iphone-hacks.com/downloads/category/23
Step 2: update via itunes holding shift key + restore button and select the firmware downloaded in step 1
step 3: after upgrading to 2.0.2, the phone will be locked with the usb wire logo, but dont worry i’ll help you jailbreak it.
step 4: download the quickpwn 1.5.1 not 1.5.0, this is a newer version also called quickpwn RC3 from
http://www.iphone-hacks.com/downloads/file/138
and extract it to the desktop, after extracting you would find 2 files one with .exe and another read me and now further extract the .exe file and now you get some 6 files including quickpwn.exe, and this is the folder you have to copy+paste files of step 5 and step 6
step 5: download bootloader 3.9 and 4.6 from the website displayed at step 1
step 6: download firmware 2.0.1 for your appropriate phone or touch.
step 7: now double click on quickpwn.exe from the 2nd time extracted folder where those 6 files(approx.) were found. and then select your appropriate phone, then the firmware 2.0.1 (please select 2.0.1 not the 2.0.2). then the bootloaders and then just follow the instructions and let it restart and you are done. a phone again unlocked with 7 steps verified on 2G phone.

When i unlocked my iPhone (firmware 2.0.2) all works great. But my Network is not working. I cant recieve or make call’s. How to fix this?
2nd time is 2 days QuickPwn iphone 3g 2.0.2 applied jailbreak no problem. Now if I interrupt a sync with itunes it crashes and never comes back up, just shows the pineapple for ever. Then I have to restore. This happen to anyone else? WTF

Everything works for me, except that I can’t connect to itunes. Iused the bootloaders to unlock the phone, but need to use itunes to be able to copy my contacts, etc. Ideas anyone?
jailbreak worked fine for 3g iphone, but the phone wont connect to the internet using the 3g network or edge network it will only connect using wi-fi. any suggestions????? please help

My son accidentally upgraded his iphone using Itunes, but we manage to open it again. However, now he cannot make any phone calls from the phone frame. He can send sms and call by going into contacts, but not make any calls using the phone menu. If we press anything there it just go back to the main frame. Also all the text like favorites, resent, contacts, eg. is gone. Any one who knows how we can fix this?

i updated my 2g iphone to 2.0.2. then run winpwn 2.5. everything seems to work, except that there is no network connection. i tried to solve it with bootneuter, but no matter if i chose the 3.9 or 4.6, there won’t be any connection.
