While Mac users are still waiting for their version of the easy to use QuickPwn, Windows users will be enjoying two iterations of QuickPwn. Currently there is poorlad’s QuickPwn GUI which was created at brake neck speed (5 hours after release of QuickPwn command line). Now WinPwn has announced that we will see WinPwn 2.5 released by the end of this week and it will be using the latest QuickPwn behind the scenes.

It happened to all versions of winpwn 2.0.01, 2.0.02, 2.0.0.3 and the latest 2.0.0.4….all of them r buggy.

Yes you can… I used parallels on my MAC to use PWN and then sync’d it with my iTunes in MAC no problem what so ever. Just don’t register it in Windows, cuz you got like 5 computers… you could IF you want….
Should I just wait for this Winpwn release? or should I use something else to re-jailbreak 2.0.2, like quickpwn?

It seems like a really good update and promises to be a lot easier to use, which is always good.
Hopefully it comes out today, because if it doesn’t I’m going to be a little disappointed in cmw (the creator of winpwn).
I have been holding off from re-jailbreaking my iPod so that I wouldn’t have to jailbreak it twice, but I may change that if it doesn’t come out today.
Oh well, it’ll come out eventually, and that’s the point =]
so when’s it supposed to come out? and can installer work with it, because i don’t like cydia and when i try to get installer via winpwn it fails to create ipsw.
its suppost to come out today but it hasent and that really dispoint me. when i come home this afternoon if it isent realeased then i will jailbreak my ipod with a nother program!

Will this upcoming release unlock firmware 2.0.2 to be used on any telco as well? For normal 2g iphones.

I hope they can fix the 2.02 bug b/c i just updated to it the other day to try and fix some service issuses i really enjoyed my jailbroken 2.01 good luck guys and hopefully ill be pwned again soon!

Winpwn has got their site up and runing again, and with a new update! They fixed the bug with quickpwn 2.0.2 and are releasing a beta real soon!

Well, the winpwn site is currently really overloaded with ppl w8ing for the new release, not very surprising as it should be, according to the devs, be released about now^^
Winpwn work Greate and i jump to 1.1.4 to 2.0.2 and working fine installer and Cydia also works Greate.
