Saurik is at it again, this time with an update to his free iPhone video recording software labeled “Cycorder“. The audio recording feature that we’ve all been awaiting is here and FREE. Saurik had been debating whether or not he would bundle audio in with some sort of paid version of Cycorder. Luckily Cycorder is still free and can be installed on any jailbroken iPhone or iPhone 3G via the Cydia app installer (Note: Saurik is also the creator of Cydia).
Recent Updates/Changes:
- Audio Channel Recording
- Colorized Navigation Buttons
- TV Out Supported Playback
- No AutoLock When Recording
- Minor (REC) Badge Fixes
Update:
Saurik has updated again since this post with the following changes;
- Fixed “After 10 Minuters” Crash
- No StatusBar After Suspend
- Update MiB After Deletions
- Removed /tmp/video.mov Link

I took the opportunity to have a play with this app yesterday. I must say, it’s pretty slick. The iPhone ain’t one of the best camcorders in the world, but cycorder definately brings out the best in it.
This is such a great app!!! Amazing how apple don’t offer this feature for the iphone…I’m seeing more and more why it’s called a JAILBREAK!!! Thanks man!

when I play da video it’s real quiet
I must say I like it and it is fast.. but NO WAY can I use this all the time.. That is dumb to make it sooo big that you cant even send it through email… Most everyone has 5meg limit on email (sending) and if you recorde more then 10 seconds you are at 5 meg or something.. this is DUMB.. I have went back to the other iphone videorecorder… Great product stupid that you cant make it smaller and email it.. wow..

Thank you very much. It is Very good application, IT is not full screen on TV like iphone video recorder. I hope to make it full Tv screen display and give option to resize for email.

01. For downloading in your PC, Instal Iphonebrowser which free. Synchronise your iphone with USB cable. Go to menu bar –User–Media–Video..you can find your Video file/recorded through iphone. Right clik on the file ..save as to a location..it will be saved as .mov file…
02. Download .mov to .wmv software which is also free. Then convert this .mov file to .wmv file..ITS DONE YOU CAN PLAY WITH wmpLAYER..SAME CAN BE EMAILED…it is working.
