You just have to follow the currents and/or fill DNA bar. You might be at the level where you unlock an achievement and missed that in one of the coves. Or maybe there was an error in installation?

The easiest way to pass level 29 is to edit your creature so it has eyes and antennae to point you to the tadpoles after big monster is popped, scales to reduce damage inflicted from charging fish and big monster, and max out on enhanced fins and tails for speed and agility. You want to remove the spikes and offensive weapons so as not to kill the charging fish. I tried to use a lure, but I had to reduce speed/agility and was only able to pop one monster. I could only pass using the antennae to guide to tadpoles, minimal defense so as not to die immediately, and speed/agility to spin in circles around monster, lure charging fish, get out of way, and chase down tadpoles. If you don’t catch all tadpoles after two monsters pop, then use the workaround where you eat the green corral and then finish by eating the squid.

To pass level 30 just find the shield symbiotes and pull on brown tentacles. You will need to do this repeatedly to release the eggs. I had to pull out all the tentacles. There are three shields in three different coves and they replenish after a while. If you don’t get eggs out with three shields, go back to furthest one and start over. Each shield is good for up to two tentacles so you can do it with three shields if you avoid all the other predators. You will need speed and agility, but you can mix it up with defensive and offensive traits on this level.

I got through 10 relatively quickly…I do not even remember why at one point I passed to the next level. It just happens with no real door opening or anything really noticeable. I wish the spore people would give more detail in the help section.

Maybe that’s why no one is offering any help here.

I think I will give my phone to my 10 year old to work past this level.

Does the game officially end at level 30? Anyone…

OK – even more basic help needed! I just got this, played the first 9 levels and I have been “stuck” at level 10. Hearts are all full, I have “eaten” everything except the spiny urchins along the side and have been wandering the caverns for 3 hours now with no level up. What am I missing? Any help appreciated. Thanks Tanney
