The Boy Genius Report reports, Wal-Mart is to sell 4GB iPhones for $99 with a 2-year contract December 28th. Boy Genius Report is not entirely confident that this is true.
When Apple originally introduced the iPhone, it shipped in 4GB and 8GB models. A couple months later, Apple discontinued the 4GB model completely and dropped the price of the 8GB model. Apple, now, sells iPhones for $199 (8GB) and $299 (yup, you guess it, 16GB) with 2-year contracts. A 4GB iPhone model for $99 does make sense, but will it happen? $99 will be aggressive and will sell alot more iPhones. Only time will tell. Stay Tuned!
Looks like they aren’t selling enough so they dropped the price… shame it’s still the same old crappy iPhone.

The sony ericsson x1 is way better then the iPhone.
They should have them for 50 pounds in the UK for pay as you go that would be a lot better it should be free on contract most phones here are my 45 pound tariff with O2 came with the iPhone 16GB free so you guys are getting ripped off by Apple but its typical by Apple ;)

First off you can use an iphone prepaid(its called jailbreaking and unlocking) And the iphone is a crappy phone out of the box, but jailbroken u can have anywhere from music video ringtones to encrypted text messages with owns any other phones face. even the HTC google phone.

You can use prepaid out of the box stupid… as long as its a att sim (in a locked phone) or any prepaid sim (in a factory unlocked phone)
Some of yall are straight dumb. The Iphone is one of the best phones on the market. Yes it’s restricted to hell if it’s not jailbroken but once it is. The skys the limit. This phone is a industry changer. Why the fuznuck do you think every provider and phone maker are making their own variation of the Iphone. To say it suck means you don’t know shiznit about shiznit. Also that says you either A. are hating because you can’t afford one B. because your a nut sucka C. because you don’t know any better.
I dunno why, but i love this fuckin phone. lol
Nope. Got the Walmart flyer the other day. The 8Gb models are being offered for 197.97. No 4Gb model offered…
