Sling Media was at MacWorld this week demonstrating awesome new products for slingbox owners. Slingbox is a set top box that allows users to stream video from your cable set top box or DVR over the internet to supported devices.

Sling Media has been demonstrating different versions of Slingplayer for iPhone for months but there has been little word when this app will hit AppStore shelves. This app will allow slingbox owners to stream TV or video from anything that has HDMI, component or composite over the internet to their iPhone via Wi-Fi, 3G, and even EDGE. Sling Media was demonstrating an early version of the SlingPlayer for iPhone on the Macworld show floor.

SlingPlayer for iPhone will be submitted to the App Store in March of this year. Sling Media representatives expect the application to be approved by Apple. Pricing has not yet been set.
