The iPhone Dev Team has investigated yesterday’s iPhone and iPod Touch software update release. They concluded that updating an iPhone 3G may permanently disable the use of yellowsn0w. iPhone Dev Team’s ability to tether jailbreak the iPod Touch 2G has not been affected (yay!) They are still looking for a way to jailbreaking without having to do it tethered. and the iPod Touch 1G and iPhone EDGE jailbreak has not been affected, they are encouraging to wait for abit till the updated PwnageTool and QuickPwn tools release before updating.
