We mention that iBluetooth entered the final stage of beta testing awhile ago and today, iBluetooth was released on cydia! Finally, eh? Again, an jailbreak iPhone developer had to do what Apple didn’t do — Allow users to transfer files to and from the iPhone.
iBluetooth is £3.99 and available on Cydia and you can buy it here
Thanks Thomas for the tip!

So many people been waiting for this but 3.99 I know hard work goes in to these apps. But I didn’t jailbreak my phone to pay for stuff I net it been ready for ages they just waited for cydia store to come out. Anyone that wants to make money from apps should make one to go on app store the scene is getting stupid and I hope you donate some of the money you earn to the team responsible for the jailbreak cause without them it wouldn’t be possible for your app to work. .
Wow, a feature from the 90s finally on the iPhone, well done apple for not including any decent features in the first place, no doubt a bluetooth app will be in the apple store any day for $60.
I agree with WTF, although it is nice that it finally came out to Cydia, but $3.99 lbs is kinda ridiculous, I think my money is more worth it for the jailbreak team development. Thanks, but no thanks. PS. I think this Cydia store is retarded, if you’re going to publish your work, do it on App store, I think that’s the reason why Apple created it for.
There are ways to get it for free if you search
Man I would pay $20 dollars for working A2DP bluetooth. There are already enough ways to get files on and off the phone, main reason I would want full bluetooth functionality would be for Audio! Let me know when that is supported and I will gladly pay for the efforts!
I must agree with the first poster. I know efforts have been put into making such an app work, and the originator wants compensation for his hours spent, but isn’t that the whole point of jailbreaking your iPhone?
Don’t say Apple would not allow this app to come through. They allow apps that give you free text messaging, that takes away from THEIR money collected on text, so I am sure they will allow a Bluetooth app like this ESPECIALLY since it will rake in lots of money off commission.
I also see the point of someone making money and not wanting Apple to take commission, but the Cydia Store is do the same thing, just not as much.
The hacking scene is becoming an unwelcoming one. Very little to look forward to. It isn’t enough that we pay nearly $100/month to our cell phone providers, but to pay $1-$10 for these apps? No way. Were in a recession.
I’ve got this software already. and I use it to send picture from my iphone 3g to a nokia mobile, it works really good and fast, but it will automatically reduce the picture quality, and there is no setting option to change it . so I just wondering will the creator of this software make so update someday???
Well definitely a job well done by the software author, but as he stated in on the cydia file info, he needs the extra $$$ to purchase a full bluetooth stack, giving you a2dp and other awesome features. I’m sure most of you have saved a buttload of money by getting cracked apps, so pony up the dough so this guy can give us a2dp without a bulky adapter! 3.99 euros equals to a little over $5. In my opinion, it is well worth the donation, only right now his site is not taking payments.
