Well, with the outbreak of the swine flu the folks at IntuApps have responding to this pandemic by building an app. The soon-to-be-available app Swine Flu Tracker for iPhone and iPod Touch will do 3 things. First, it will display the current threat level determined by the World Health Organization (WHO). Secondly, It will do something that only an iPhone/iPod Touch can do really really well – it drops pins onto Google maps to represent confirmed or suspected cases, nifty ain’t it? Last but absolutely not least, it tracks and reports on Swine Flu news from around the world. You might find Swine Flu Tracker useful if you’re traveling or just generally concerned about this somewhat scary problem.

Seeing as it isn’t live yet, we at iPhone-hacks haven’t tested it and can’t report on its performance. Hopefully, Apple wont keep us waiting too long.
