The iPhone Dev Team has pushed out a great update for their IPhone 3G and 3GS unlocking tool, ultrasn0w. This update fixes a bunch of little bugs here and there.
Features:
- Works on both 3G and 3GS
- Works on hacktivated devices
- Works regardless of how you jailbroke your device
- Doesn’t patch any mach-o binary whatsoever. (Doesn’t require a separate patch as each new firmware comes out).
- Doesn’t install any additional daemon
- Has no race conditions, no popups about “Missing SIM”, no network issues
- Is almost 7000 times smaller than its nearest competition :)
- Is available now via Cydia. Source repo is http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com (that’s ultrasn0w with a zero!)
If you haven’t yet updated to ultrasn0w 0.9 then we highly suggest you do! So fire up cydia and update that puppy!

sorry if I sound like a complete noob or if I offended anyone but I think the source might be broken because when i try to add it to cydia it says bad url and even though later I can install ultrasn0w, it doesn’t seem to work because I can’t install my apps like monopoly even though it worked fine with my ipod touch. Can someone pls help me?

I have same problem. Did you find the solution. I have 3gs I could instal Cydia, but i cant instal ulrasn0w.I also reinstaled, but same.

still having the problem ( when a person call me somentimes(most of) doesnt work…)
i have the bars of the operator full…. but even whit that somenthimes when a person call….go straigth to the mailbox…
i dont know how many times i format my iphone,…. did everything rigth….
do u have a clue whats going on?
try making sure that your sim card is working maybe its faulty or you can try unlocking again. Make sure u unlock ur iphone based on the right baseband because different baseband require different unlock methods. Older baseband might requite yellowsn0w etc if it still dosnt work try restoring or reseting your phone completely and reconfigure it as a new phone
Thats all i can think of if it still dsnt work then ur phone might be screwed
yeah my sim card its allgood. my baseband 04.26.08 …so i try out the upgrade to 3.0 before was excelent.(2.2.1) ..now, i do everything rigth ..even turn of the 3g before put the ultrasn0w….but maybe u right ,………………………. screwed its the answer ^^… thankx for all :0
if i use redsn0w to jailbreak do make the diference’<?……
i prefer redsn0w, alot easier and iv had no problems with my iphone since
is there any other method of installing ultrasnow on iphone, other than through wifi.(i have no wifi)
