iPhone Connect Four Earle from iFone Arcade sent word the other day, Connect 4 is now iPhone-enabled and available for online play. Connect remotely with players from around the globe and line four of ‘em up to win. It’s a classic, you know what it’s all about. The concept is simple: (Wikipedia describes it best)

Connect Four (also known as Plot Four, Four In A Row, and Four In A Line) is a two-player board game in which the players take turns in dropping alternating colored discs into a seven-column, six-row vertically-suspended grid. The object of the game is to connect four singly-colored discs in a row — vertically, horizontally, or diagonally — before your opponent can do likewise.

Browse over to ifonearcade.com via Mobile Safari on your iPhone and/or iPod Touch. Register and enjoy.

Other games such as Battleship and Tic-Tac-Toe are available too.

Well I couldn’t word it any better myself… So here’s what Earle Davies has to say about their most recent update to the [new] peer-to-peer online iPhone arcade:

From the people who brought you the amazing p2p online game of battleship, comes the newest game in the lineup: tic-tac-toe. If you don’t have time to play the long game of battleship, playing a quick game of tic-tac-toe vs. a live person can pass the time. Hop on over to http://www.ifonearcade.com and checkout the newly redesigned battleship and newly created tic-tac-toe. Stat tracking for registered members and more features including an in-game chat are included. If you could please add this new tic-tac-toe and update the battleship link that would be awesome!

Absolutely brilliant! Don’t hesitate. Browse over to ifonearcade.com (via Mobile Safari) and start making a name for yourself. Games are compatible with the iPhone and iPod Touch. If you end up against GregCube, it means your ass is grass, sucker.

“You sunk my battleship!” That’s what Snakesm13 is saying right about now. Good game dude — if you’re reading this…

iPhone Battleship

Hop on your iPhone, or iTouch for that matter, fire up Mobile Safari and browse over to http://www.teamtpfl.com/iPhone.

Indulge in a classic game of Battleship against other players from around the globe. Place your ships wherever desired; shortly thereafter you’ll be connected to someone else waiting to play.

Props to Earle, Colin, and flygangsta. Nice work.

Enjoy!

P.S. Snakesm13, you best change your coordinates next time. ;)
