Major Warning:  When I tried it I got a nice messed up iPhone. It wont even start. Maybe I mis-used the code or something. But if you wanna give it a try, be my guest. Maybe you can even find out what went wrong and help us all! wink

That being said... Here we go!

This is how you can change the Root passwords for use with SHH:
1) Visit: http://iphone.simbunch.com/crypt.php
2) Type in the password you want twice to confirm and click Generate.
3) You'll get a nice green script. Now do this: Using SSH, or your favorite method of iPhone-file browsing, go to /root/private/etc and find the file: master.passwd and back it up somewhere on ya computer or wherever.
4) Change the code in the original file on the phone with the one you got from the website and save it.
5) Restart your iPhone.
