And either way, 2.0 was just released. It took a while to crack the encryption on iPod games. Give the developers a chance to make it better... it being 2.0

download and extract the monkey ball.app folder to desktop

this is for firmware 2.0 only and u must have Jailbroken iphone and cydia and openssh installed

Instructions
1) Copy Monkey Ball.app into /Applications via SSH and set the permission to 777, and all files and folders and files in the containing folders to 777
2) Create a folder called “Documents” in /var/mobile/ and set permission to 777 make sure to capitalize "Documents"
3) Full Reboot, not respring
4) Enjoy

who was the first one to do this? so it's now possible to pirate every app in the appstore or not? guess it's hard because the one who did this should have release the other apps? or it;s to hard to crack the other apps.

it only works for super monkey ball for right now, but wait about a week, then most of the paid apps will come out to be working for free, just like this one

This doesnt work for me, i copied all files, set permissions, and when i click on the app, it loads the click to continue screen, then when i click, it just goes black and the music starts skipping like on a cd, then it just goes back to home screen? im fairly computer savvy and dont see what i could have overlooked? I have a jailbroken iphone 3g.

Never mind, I fixed it! I just had to re copy the files, i went a little far away from my router, and messed up the copy (i guess).

Well, it worked like a charm for me... It's a lot better that using the .ipa and changing all the plist info... also it's not registered by the iPhone as an installed program (you can't delete it from the GUI)... You have to remove it by rm/rmdir .... Also does not gets backed up in iTunes....

I am sorry but I have never used ssh can anyone point me to a good tutorial or explain to me how to do this? Esp what commands to use in ssh and how to set the permissions...

1. Download Ciberduck (for mac) or other sftp transfer software for win

3. Permissions 777 are all boxes chequed in file information window (ussually you will find persmissions 775, two boxes unchecked)
