Lmfao, no offense of any kind, but aint ALL women like that? Women over the world, no offense. My mom is a woman, so are my sisters. Am grateful to my mom for giving birth to me and raising me and all the women in my life for giving me a rather "more-feminized" view of the world. But that doesnt mean women dont do the CRAZIEST stuff sometimes, which something I CANNOT say I am against. Know what am saying? But hell, you should see some women from where I come from. Not only would they get it for free, they'd get some free gifts as well. xD!!!!

I forsee a problem with this: What if you couldn't find a new contract? I don't know AT&T prices, but I don't think ANYONE offers a cheap contract for data. Sure you can keep the phone, but theres no point in using it without having a contract

it was explained to me at the mac store, that if you purchase a 3g iphone, you have to have a plan no matter what. the higher price is set because if you cancel early, they charge you cancellation fee + difference of the iphone cost. also, there is a small chance you have to pay full price anyway, even with signing a contract. its all pretty convoluted. but any way you cut it 1000$ iphones are rediculous.

And Magic, those people at the Mac store only know as far as Apple tell them. There are WAY more ways to get an iPhone without having to sign a contract. Cuz whats REALLY ridiculous is that they force us to get a contract so we can get the phone. Wth is up with that?

You can actually do this. If you buy 5 at a time you can use the family plan (around $250 total) and while the first activation is $37, the next 4 are only $26. Before the first month is up cancel the service, paying for the $175/phone. If you sell 4 on ebay, even charging a little less than what others are doing, you've got the 5th one for free.

Of course, you need to have the $1,200 (8GB) up front to do it. And if you ever want to buy more iPhones, AT&T will hesitate to sell it to you.

I haven't done this, but I know someone that did.
