DOT.TUNES 4 FREE: There is FINALLY an application that lets you get your entire iTunes library on your iPhone.
I've had it running on my iPhone since i got it and I've been watching movies, playing all of the songs from my library, videos, everything.
Find out more at http://www.dottunes.net

there's also an app called iPhoneRemote that'll let you do the same thing but more...

I must respectfully disagree with Leif. I know I'm new to this forum, and may be speaking out of turn, but I've got both the DOT.TUNES iPhone interface and the iPhone Remote on my iPhone, and the remote definitely does not let you do anything remotely close to what DOT.TUNES does.
Its a nice remote control for your desktop, but you can't password protect your contents, nor can you restrict access to your contents. Once a person knows your desktop's url, they can go hog wild with your contents. With DOT.TUNES, you control who see and has access to what.
There's a whole admin section that lets you create and restrict users to your content, as well as create playlists, search for content, and a host of other cool stuff.
More importantly, with iPhone Remote, you're controlling your desktop. You're not streaming music through your iPhone, unless you decide to share your media unsecured. Even then, you've got to click everything twice or three times before you actually can select the item you're trying to access.
DOT.TUNES has a clean intuitive interface that simply works. Its well out of the beta stage, so I'd imagine there are differences between it and any beta app, but to suggest that the Telekenesis Remote is similar to DOT.TUNES is really like comparing apples to oranges.

No prob. I just saw this article on Wired's blog about DOT.TUNES. Hopefully it'll help other iPhone users to form a perspective on the app before they try it out.

Forgive me for being skeptical but we see alot of this on these forums. Two very new users registered on exactly the same day praising the same so-called "free" software. The application for your PC is free of charge but the "plugins" needed to actually use it on anything cost $20. This looks alot like targeted advertising to me. Forgive me if you are not connected with this company and in fact just really like this software but this is the internet it happens all the time
EDIT: also before anyone points out I am new to iphone-hacks too but not the hacks network. i'm on psp-hacks all the time and just came for a browse
