jailbroke a friends iphone (2G), problems with passwords, please help
I had installed FW 2.0.2 using PwnageTools 2.0.3 for a non-3G iPhone. this phone had never been hacked before.
All went smooth except that the following passwords keep coming up incorrect
- Voicemail (i have to type it in 3 times, it's a 4 digit numeric code very simple)
- Email
- Wifi (this is an issue when i'm in cydia or some other app trying to reach wifi for the first time; settings/BossPrefs set the password fine...but it still encounters this problem when i open other apps)
I've tried the following solutions:
- Reboot phone
- BossPrefs: Fix Permissions
I'm not sure what else I could do. I did not restore any old settings, kept this phone fresh (iTunes wouldn't restore the backup anyway)

Voicemail password should be know by the owner.
Email should be known by the owner.
Wifi WEP Key is on that little sticker on your modem.

I think i'm going to stick to modmyifone forums. I was being the most elaborate in my request. The other forum answered abrubtly and come to think...................... my problem was common that PwnageTools had to make ANOTHER update (keychain issue 2.0.3.1).
So for those who's passwords for ANYTHING aren't sticking, here's your solution.

modmyifone really could use facelift...their layout looks like crap to me really...its so wide. Then you got all those buttons on the side; "Get this in the App Store". Eh

The WEP key will be whatever it's set to on the router. Is it your WIFI you are connecting to, or a random WIFI network? If it's yours, login to your router and change it.
