I was given a 8GB i phone - I used Ziphone to unlock the phone and everything was working.
Then I did a really stupid thing, when I went into i tune I upgraded and it has I think bricked my i phone.
My phone is stuck in a loop in restore. I click restore and go through the process and it then tell me that my sim is no recognised. Then it tells me I need to restore etc etc. I have tried to upload an old firmware because as far as I can see I have the 2.0.0 version on my iphone. When I tried I get a error code 20.
I have tried various jailbreaks but because it is stuck in restore it is not finding my phone, even though it is on i tunes. I am in process of trying to let the phone run totally out of charge. I am running windows XP. I have also tried a hard and soft reset pressing the keys etc.
Can any please help me:(

First off, ZiPhone sucks.
Try upgrading to the latest firmware, 2.0.2 and use quickpwn to jailbreak it

Right if anyone else has this problem this is what I did that solved mine anyway.
I downloaded QuickPwnRC3, bootloaders (you will need BL-39 and BL-46), Pwnage Tool. I then downloaded every firmware from beginning to end. Whilst it was stuck in restore I keep pressing restore and the shift button on windows to get up a different window and selected the firmwares until one loaded without me getting an error. This was painstacking long but I got it. May i suggest you download everything on your desktop so they are easy to find. Anyway once I got it to download the firmware i started the quickpwnRC3 program, it is so easy they talk you through it. Hope this helps.
