Different calling and sms number
iphone drives me crazy!Let's say that i add someone in my contact list with the phone number 99 123456 (99 xxxxxx is for my country's mobile phones). When this someone calls me i can see his name....Until here everything is fine.BUT! If this someone send me sms, i get his number with the country's code in front of it (for example +357 99 123456) and my iphone doesn't recognise the sender, even if i have him in my contact list!!!!!! If i change the number in the contact list and i put +357 in front of it,then i have the same problem again,but now when he calls me (i get 99 123456)!
Guys....HEEEEELPPP!!!!

That's one thing I don't like about that iPhone, drives me nuts too.
Easy fix for is it to go and edit/add all your contacts but, put in your country code or whatever for each one
For example for me in the usa, I have to put: (000) 000-0000, just so it shows up correctly.

i had the same problem some how its no longer there but i suggest doing what Franny says it worked for me too...

I tried to do that, but when they call me i cant see the country code. So,the problem is still there. I really dont know what's going on

did you save the no.? try again... if it's a really big bother restore but that could be a big pain in the A$$$$........
try enter a new no. and cee if it does the same thing......

lol send it to Kenya i'll fix it... i'd say just forget about it for now when a new FW comes out you can restore the iphone and that might change it.....
