Jailbroken 3G can't make outgoing calls
Pretty much what the subject says. I got my 16GB 3G all set up, jailbroken, installed apps with Cydia, Installer. All was great. I could receive calls, send and receive text, but I couldn't make calls. I ended up doing an iTunes restore late last night because I was going out and needed to be able to make calls. I hear this isn't the best idea, but I really needed to.
So now my iPhone is back to 2.0.2 and I'm thinking of pwning it (with my Mac) again. Is there anything I can do to prevent that error from happening again? Is there anything I can do to fix it once it happens?

Just make sure you do everything correctly and it shouldn't happen.
Restore should fix it, which it has.

most likely you ticked the box that says unlock or bootnuter... make another custom FW and this time make sure you unpick those boxes
