ATT signal is weak in my home. Had 2 bars at first and three weeks later, showing no service or one bar.
So I'm within the 30-day window and can cancel the service, but I understand Apple won't refund 100% on the phone after 14 days.
Now I don't know why anyone who has returned an iPhone would be here, but I have to ask: if you are here, how did it go with Apple?

Why don't you just stop in or call them and ask what the fee's would be? It will depend a lot on where you are located, etc, etc.

Because that's how they make their money ... the iPhone probably costs more than or close to $199 to make, but since the monthly fee is $10 more than for the 2G phones (at least in the U.S.) that's $10 extra a month, over two years, for an extra $240. Which is why they can offer the 3G's for cheaper.

if you're within the 30 days, they dont charge you anything to cancel but if you're over the 30 days you gotta pay
and if you cancel within the 30 days you have to give the phone back.
