Considering an iphone 3g
HI, I am from south africa and currently working in the UK.
I want to buy the new Iphone 3g, but im not sure about a couple of things.
the phone goes for £350 and how easy is it to unlock the phone so I can use a south african sim card in it?
I have read a lot of the posts regarding the iphone, but I dont know enough about the software version and what generation the phone will me.
I might be stupid or not getting it. but £350 is a lot of cash to buy a phone that might not work in other countries?

Hello there.
Its extremely easy. You can check out the tutorials on our tutorials section regarding either WinPwn/Pwnage for either PC/Mac to see how easy the process is.
But its not unlockable yet. Only jailbreakable. As in, you can modify the phone's software. But you cannot unlock it yet. The only suggestion I can give is getting a SIM adapter. Google it for iPhone and you'll see what am talking about.

I have seen the device or sim adapter.
when do you think the actual crack will be available?
thats puts me in a odd predicament damb.
