Ey wazzap!

I just read bout this kick-ass app called Trapster. Basically, what it does is build a database mainaly maintained by user feedback regarding police traps, red light cameras, speeding cameras and other types of 'traps'.

What happens is, when you close in on a trap, an alert plays depending on the trap itself, i.e: Live Police? <<; Damn. Anyway, and you can pinpoint where traps are by simply tapping your screen and even rate other users reported traps!

The system itself more or less 'learns' the credability of users based on feed back regarding that report, and how many users agree with that report. Sweet, eh?

The best of all. Its free! Yet, it can save you lots of money, time you dont have, and best of all, not having to deal with crooked @$$ cops. <<; What can I say, I with the law, am just not with how its being enforced! >>;

i'd say speeding is a bad thing since it escalates danger? and this app is just encouraging people on how to avoid police to continue on with their dangerous ways.

Your right.
But sometimes people DO need to speed up.
Another thing is, I hate how the police 'hide' themselves and pop up on people like that. Thats some bullshit.
All in all, I agree with ya. But I have to say, its a wonderful app. Just think bout the programming, the database structure and localization and the user creditability build-up and ranks and all of that, DAMN! So beautiful...
