iBluetooth is a neat application that will allow the end-user to transfer files to and from their computers to an iPhone – Hell yeah! you heard right! Bluetooth transfer on iPhone! MeDevil, the creator of iBlueTooth has come final bug squashing to do and this app will be released.

Apple currently does not allow an app such as iBluetooth to do this (Stupid Apple) so don’t expect this app to be made available on the AppStore, this application will be most likely released on Cydia.

Stay tuned! We’ll let you know when this hits Cydia!

We all know the current iPhone bluetooth implementation is somewhat lacking: no A2DP profile for those dopey-looking Bluetooth stereo headphones you’re sporting, no means of simply transferring files between devices, and lets not fail to mention the other twenty some odd non-supported Bluetooth profiles…

Well, that’s when this crew comes into play — the iBluetooth Project team. Their aim: assume master control of the bluetooth chip, manipulate and write profiles instructing the chip how to perform certain tasks, share the end result with the world. And by looking at their recent status updates (via the source link) they’ve made some good progress already. Keep your eyes peeled.
